Refund Policy

We pride ourselves on our good customer service, and if we can facilitate a reasonable refund request, we will.  However, due to the complicated nature of buying and selling firearms, with their associated transfer fees, background checks, and shipping requirements, we have adopted the following policy regarding refunds on firearms:

1. Used firearms are sold "as-is" and are not subject to refunds unless exceptions are made.  Contact Warden at 307-326-5551 to discuss an exception.

2. Any non-firearm item purchased from koyotysports.com is final, and does not qualify for refunds or returns.

3. Manufacturer Defects:

• Due to the serialized nature of firearms, we cannot exchange a faulty firearm with a different one.

• If you have received your firearm and discovered a manufacturer's defect, you will need to contact the manufacturer directly to submit a warrantee request.

• Koyoty Sports is not responsible for manufacturer defects, but we will help facilitate your warrantee request in any way we can.

 

4. Collectible Inspection Period:

• This clause only applies to "Collectible" firearms worth over $1000, which derive their value primarily due to age, rarity, condition, or other collector's value. 

• "Collectible" firearms, shall have an inspection period lasting 3 days, allowing for verification of the firearms condition and value. This 72 hour period begins when the receiving FFL receives the firearm.

• ​If the buyer determines that the firearm does not meet their expectations, the buyer will qualify for a full refund, minus the cost to ship the firearm back to Koyoty Sports.

5. "Change of Heart" Grace Period:

• Within 3 days from the date of the purchase, we allow for a "change of heart" refund depending on the timing, status, and work completed on the order.

• ​If the firearm has not shipped, you will be entitled to a full refund.​

• If the firearm is already in transit, but within the 3 day period, you will be assessed a restocking fee of 25% of the purchase price to cover paperwork, labor, and restocking. 

  • Once the firearm has shipped, any shipping fees collected by Koyoty Sports are non-refundable.

  • Buyer will also be responsible for any shipping fees required to send the firearm back to Koyoty Sports from it's destination.​​

 

6. Refusal or Denial:

• This clause will apply after the 3 day grace period, for instances such as refusing the shipping, or failing to pass the required NICS background check, rendering you unable to receive the firearm.​

• In this case, you will be assessed a 45% restocking fee, plus any shipping to return the firearm to us.
